Setting up recurring calendar entries in Google Calendar & Outlook 365 is a super convenient & efficient way to streamline your schedule, so we’ve put together a step-by-step guide for both platforms:
Google Calendar
1. Go to your Google Calendar either by going to Google and clicking on the nine grey dots to the right, then selecting Calendar, or by visiting calendar.google.com and signing in with your Google account (if prompted).
2. Click on the ‘+’ sign or select a specific date and time to create a new event.
3. Fill in the details of your event, like the title, location, date and time.
4. Below the date and time fields, you'll see an option labelled ‘Does not repeat’. Click on this to open the recurrence options.
5. Select how often you want the event to repeat from the dropdown menu (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly).
6. Depending on the frequency you choose, you'll be prompted to specify additional details such as the end date, the days of the week, or the interval between occurrences.
7. Once you've decided on the recurrence settings you’d like to run with, click ‘Done’ or ‘Save’ to save the event.
Outlook 365
1. Open Outlook 365 and navigate to the Calendar section.
2. Click on ‘New’ to create a new appointment or meeting.
